Eighty Six at Sadler's Cat

After a few years without a regular Eighty Six event since we ceased our residency at Outlaws Yacht Club in Leeds, we're very pleased that we've been asked by Cloudwater Brewery to DJ monthly at their Manchester pub Sadler's Cat. Located in NOMA, near to Victoria Station, Sadler's Cat used to be known as The Pilcrow and was run in collaboration by Common & Co and Cloudwater.

However, after lockdown Common & Co decided they needed to focus on other initiatives so Cloudwater took on the lease and relaunched as Sadler's Cat. They've given the place a refit, including a new ventilation system to make it safer in the new times, but it keeps the clean Scandinavian look and of course the wonderful outdoor space in Sadler's Yard.

We're at Sadler's on the last Saturday of every month, covering the afternoon into evening from 2pm until 7pm. Last Saturday was our second event and it's already feeling like home, it's great to be out playing again after the last 18 months in such a safe and welcoming space and the lovely relaxed vibe really suit us. Of course the amazing beers on offer from Cloudwater and their guest breweries helps as well!!

Last Saturday was our second appearance, it was great again to see friends we've not seen for a long time and catch up, it was also great to get positive feedback from staff and customers. If you haven't had chance to make it down yet, hopefully we'll see you over the coming months, we're next there on Saturday November 27th. Don't worry about the winter weather, they recently installed a marquee with heating so there's plenty of space for all!
