Mark is best known in music circles as the man who's designed some amazing cover art for the Claremont 56 record label. Producing designs for artists such as Paqua, Alumnia, Smith & Mudd, Fursattl and Mountaineer. Emily, his wife has also designed the covers for the Torn Sail records Birds and Treasure.
We handed the middle section of the show over to Mark and he played a true mix in every sense of the word. Mark's hour is a talking free experience so you can sit back and enjoy it without us lot waffling on.
Jif and TC open and closed the show and it's going to be our last show for a few weeks. We're taking a break to give Jif and Rachel some time at home with their new baby which is due any day.
Other things to listen out for; Moonboot's has very kindly sent over a copy of the upcoming 12" on Aficionado recordings by a Russian artist called A View of Panorama. There's also a track off the new Erland Øye LP, which comes out next week and a lovely slice of Balearic pop from ex WU LYF members now know as Los Porcos, with the second release from the excellent über records. There's plenty of other finds which we'll talk about during the show and plenty of stuff to keep you interested whilst we're away.
