Bank Holiday Eighty Six at the Beagle

This weekend we’re made up to be invited back to The Beagle to host a laid back Bank Holiday session.

We’ll be joined by some fantastic guests across the day.

James Holroyd (Begin/Basics/Bugged Out)
Duncan James Sime (Red Deer Club)

and Rob Bright and Jif (Eighty Six)

James Holroyd, the man behind the recent series of Begin singles will be with us for a rare Manchester bar set. James (Boggy to his mates), a native Yorkshireman started off at the now legendary Leeds club night Back To Basics. James then moved over to Manchester he took up another residency, this time joining Rob Bright and Richard Hector-Jones at another club that would also go onto legendary status, Bugged Out!  But, enough of the history lessons, James is producing some brilliant stuff at the moment, he's at the top of his game releasing some outstanding music as Begin.

Duncan James Sime is the head honcho of one of our favourite record labels, Red Deer Club. Home to a fantastic rota of artists featuring Jonny Common, Songs For Walter and the amazing Sara Lowe.  Duncan hung up his headphones a while back so we’re pleased that he’s back out playing again and sharing his music with us.

With Rob Bright and Jif keeping them in check, it’s got the makings of a fantastic day.

Great tunes, craft ales, great keg beers and Guerrilla Eats supplying the food, what could be better.
