Nick acid tree plays Eighty Six

This month we're pleased to welcome Nick acid tree to play for us down at Eighty Six.  Nick has been playing records around Manchester and further afield for many years now and although he's joined us on our radio show, it's his first time playing live at Eighty Six.

One of the regular selectors at Electriks' legendary Harter Street Lounge night, Nick has guested at well known Balearic haunts the length and breadth of the country from Aficionado here in Manchester to Balearica in London.

For the last 5 years' he's hosted the acid tree at various venues across the city and has recently found a new home at The Nook in Chorlton.  You can find him here on the last Saturday of every month playing his exquisite selections. Past guests at the acid tree have included Phil Mison, Moonboots, Mudd, Coyote and Kelvin Andrews. Nick has also taken the acid tree sound to some of the more discerning sunset bars and venues in Ibiza as part of Folk Ibiza Festival.

On a personal note I must say how much I enjoy Nick's selections  and when he visited us in the studio last time he left me wanting to track down a number of his gems.
Don't just take our word for it; you can listen to Nick's work on the highly respected Test PressingCoyote Howl (Is it Balearic?) and Emotional Pop sites.

Hope to see you on Friday.
