We've got the builders in down at the Balearic basement at the moment so they'll be no radio show this week. However, if you're in the Manchester area you can join us this Sunday (23rd Sept) where all three of us will be hosting a special Eighty Six down at Chorlton's newest bar, the Spoon Inn.
If you've not been to the Spoon Inn before it's a beautifully designed minimal cafe bar and tea shop located under the Victorian arcade on Barlow Moor Road. Since it opened at the start of the summer both TC and Jeffo have been guests at the Spoon Inn's live percussion night Löffel. We've all been really taken by the relaxed surroundings and lovely atmosphere Seth and the staff have created and it's become our new local.
Music will be starting around 4.30 pm and continue until closing time, which is a respectable Sunday hour of 10.30pm. A range of food, beers, cakes artisan teas coffees and the Sunday papers are available and if the sun comes out we'll fire up the griddle.
Be great to see you and if fancy joining us for a drink, some food and something a bit different in a lovely setting.... perfect for a Sunday.
