After two week's off for a short summer break and a Sunday spent at the Trent Bridge Test Match, we're back on Purple Radio this Sunday afternoon from 3.30- 5.30pm.
On Monday night we're heading into town to the Deaf Institute to see Washed Out!. 'Feel it all Around' from their Life of Leisure EP was a big fave with us and their new LP 'Within or Without' is just as sublime. Here's a taster from the Lp which you can pick up now on Sub Pop.
We've got a stack of new vinyl and also very special guest 'mini mix' from Andy Pye. Andy hosts the Balearic Social Radio show on Leeds' Northern Underground Radio. He's had some cracking guest on in the past including our mate Nigel Long (who coincidentally plays at Eighty Six at Jam St on 2nd September) Andy's past show podcasts are available here and also on his blog.
It's a busy weekend for us with Eighty Six at Jam St this Friday (5th August) where we'll be joined be Will & Tom from the Manchester record label and club night aA. See the post below for a full run down.
