Sounds of Eighty Six, March 2024

We're back with our March show, the station are still struggling with some technical and resourcing issues so the show won't be on Mixcloud for a couple of weeks. Loads of great new music for us to showcase this month as well as some of our old favourites as usual. We'll be making our usual monthly appearance at the Cloudwater taproom on Easter Saturday 2-7pm, so if you're around Manchester pop in and say hello. Our next show is on Sunday 21st April. After having a month off in January we're back with our first show of 2024. The prolonged break means we've all got lots of new music to share, including a few tracks due out over the next couple of months. The station is still having a few resourcing issues which is delaying them getting the shows shared via the usual Mixcloud and Soundcloud so in the meantime we've embedded the podcast version so you don't need to wait. Once again it's time to share our monthly 1BTN show, we continued our recent run of all three of us doing the show. As we usually do we mixed up some greg new music, including tracks from Leisure Dub, Psychederek and Double Geography, with a few old favourites. Next month marks 17 years of the three of us DJing together, from our early days at Jam Street and on Unity radio in Manchester. We keep thinking we should have got the hang of it by now and surprised people still want to listen to us! Our next show will be broadcast on June 16th, it will be up on here shortly after.
