The Originals compilations are a series of albums on Claremont 56 showcasing some of the more obscure finds in the record collections of influential underground DJs. The first volume of the series was compiled by Moonboots and Balearic Mike and set the tone for the quality of the rest of the series with tracks from the likes of Tony Esposito and Byron, this was followed by Volume 2 from Mark Seven and Volume 4 from Matthew & Jolyon.

This week sees the release of the missing Volume 3, compiled by Sean P. The break in the order was down to delays in clearing some of the tracks, Sean P is a renowned trainspotter and collector of records so as you would expect the album contains lots of rare and sought after music.

The full series will consist of 10 Volumes, including a second from Sean P and there are plans for a vinyl box set consisting of the best tracks once the series is completed. As usual with releases on Claremont 56 we'll be waiting impatiently for the release of each volume, thanks Paul for your time and effort in constantly putting out quality underground music.
