Live music in Manchester

It's a great few weeks for live music in Manchester. Last Monday Bill Callahan played at The Deaf Institute. Despite this being the day after the Green Man, Sir Bill played to a sell out crowd.

- Monday 7th September starts a great week of gigs in Manchester as Vetiver play Academy 3. On the Wednesday we'll be back at the same venue to see the very fantastic Peter Broderick (see article below). These are two must see gigs in a very intimate venue. Not so intimate but still promising to be a great concert, Fleet Foxes return to Manchester on the Friday night. It was only November they were playing the Academy so it's a marker of just how far they have come that this time they've sold out the Apollo theatre.

One for the diary (but you'll have to move quickly), Grizzly Bear play the Manchester Cathedral on Wednesday 4th November.
